IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

Winter weather in the southern part of the country has forced some Iowa baseball games to be moved from Arkansas to Texas.

The University of Iowa baseball team was scheduled to play three games against University of Arkansas-Little Rock and Missouri State in Little Rock, Arkansas this weekend. Due to an expected bout of rain and snow, the games have been moved to Grand Prairie, Texas.

The Hawkeyes play University of Arkansas-Little Rock at 11 a.m. Friday and Noon on Sunday at QuikTrip Park.

They are scheduled to play Missouri State at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Prestonwood Christian Academy in Plano, Texas.

The Hawkeyes first home game is scheduled for March 11 against AIB College of Business.
