Senator Chuck Grassley has announced a Hudson graduate received appointments to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point for the 2015-2016 school year.

John "Jack" Linden Worthington will graduate from Hudson High School in May. He is the son of Glynis and Wayne Worthington. 

Worthington participated in football, wrestling and trapshooting at Hudson High School. 

Tobey Allison Yates of Underwood was also chosen by Senator Grassley to attend West Point.

Yates and Worthington were among 37 Iowans nominated this year for appointments.
