It happened at 1414 Shamrock Drive at about 7:45 p.m. Friday, not far from Hawkeye Community College. Police say three subjects were involved, including 27-year-old Tony Hicks. Police arrested Hicks after he was released from a local hospital.

The two others involved in the incident were also taken to the hospital, but police said Saturday morning they are in stable condition.

Hicks is being charged with Burglary 1st Degree, two counts of Willful Injury, Going Armed with Intent and Carrying Weapons.
