CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

Cedar Rapids police were called to a fight at Wilson Middle School today that forced a lockdown of the school.

Associate Principal Nikki Rowland sent a message to parents at around 1:20 p.m. saying that two students were involved in the fight and the Cedar Rapids Police Department was called in to assist.

Rowland added that all classroom doors were locked while the fight was broken up.

She says the issue was resolved quickly and no students were injured or in danger.

Greg Buelow, spokesperson for the Cedar Rapids Police Department, says the students involved in the fight have been charged with disorderly conduct.
