URBANA (KWWL) -

The city of Urbana is now working with the Cedar Valley Humane Society for animal control services.  A contract was finalized today.

The animal control service contract covers dogs, cats, and certain other small companion animals, such as domestic rabbits, hamsters, and guinea pigs. Farm animals, birds, wildlife and exotic species are excluded.

People in Urbana can contact the Cedar Valley Humane Society during regular business hours, Monday through Friday noon to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m. to pick up strays.
