The Cedar Valley United Way campaign announced that their 2014 fundraising campaign topped $3 million, the sixth year in a row they have accomplished that.

"We had a few setbacks during the campaign, but the Cedar Valley rallied to support United Way," Bob Justis, co-chair of the 2014 campaign, said in a written statement. "Businesses like UnityPoint Health - Waterloo increased their giving over $25,000. The University of Northern Iowa campaign came in over $16,000 more than last year."
