CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) - There's been a shake-up in Iowa men's basketball after the most recent AP men's basketball poll.

The UNI Panthers are ranked higher than the Iowa State Cyclones.

The Hawkeyes are just outside of the Top 25, but the poll puts the Cyclones at number 14 and the Panthers one spot ahead, at number 13.

The 13th spot is the highest the UNI Panthers have ever been ranked in the AP poll.

This is as good as the Panthers have ever played in a regular season -- and that's making tickets a hot commodity.

The last two games against Wichita State and Drake were sellouts.

Before, students could get in with just a student ID at the door, but now they are required to pick up their tickets early.

If those tickets aren't sold leading up to game time, they are offered to the public.

The ticket office changed this system after the team's winning and good rankings. School officials say this team deserves a sold-out crowd.

"Coach Jacobson has done a tremendous job reaching out to students and reaching out to the community," said Steve Schofield, UNI Associate Director of Athletics. "He's such a good guy, such an approachable guy, and those relationships certainly help. And I think the same carries over to the team."

Prices for Wednesday's game against Illinois State are $15 to $23.
