DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

Dubuque's Multicultural Family Center is hosting the event Flavors of Africa on Thursday, Feb. 12, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Clark University professor Mary Gatua, who is a native Kenyan, will lead a night celebrating Africa.

Participants will enjoy home-cooked African food, music, African artifacts, and play games and win prizes.

The event is sponsored by Sustainable Dubuque Community Grant Program, and is free to all those wanting to attend.

You must pre-register for the event, which you can do at www.cityofdubuque.org/recreation.
