WATERLOO (KWWL) -

The Waterloo Police Department is trying to identify a suspect after receiving three separate reports of a suspicious male on February 4th and February 5th.

Each report happened in the neighborhood of Argyle Street between Logan and E. 4th Street.  And each time, the man was in a car and offered a ride to a teenage girl who was walking by herself.

In one instance the suspect followed the girl for several blocks when she refused.

The suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 30 years of age, short hair with a goatee or scruffy beard.
The vehicle is described as a Honda, Hyundai, or Toyota that is dark red or maroon.

If you have any information about these incidents or see a vehicle with a driver that matches the description, please get the license plate number and contact the Waterloo Police Department at 319-291-2515.
