CHICKASAW COUNTY (KWWL) -

A Sumner man is being held in jail with no bond, accused of arson and also making threats to kill law enforcement officers.

Authorities arrested 55-year-old Terry Schott, Sr. on a warrant out of Chickasaw County for violation of a pre-trial release.

Schott is charged with conspiracy to commit a forcible felony and insurance fraud after an alleged arson in Fredericksburg.

According to the Chickasaw County Sheriff, the court revoked Schott's pre-trial release Friday after reviewing an application.
Schott allegedly made a credible statement of his intent to kill local law enforcement officers.

Schott is being held without bond in the Bremer County Jail.
A court appearance this morning in Chickasaw County was continued.
