New data says that Amazon users who have a "Prime Membership" spend more money on the site than non-members, that's according to "Consumer Intelligence Research Partners."

The researchers found that Prime users spend roughly $1,500 dollars vs. $625 spent by non-members. The membership costs $79 a year, but members get free shipping, unlimited photo storage, discounts on products, and access to streaming video and music.
