BREMER COUNTY (KWWL) -

Two men, one from Mason City and one from Northwood, have been arrested in connection with a Bremer County burglary.

Bremer County deputies were called to home northwest of Waverly on January 13 for a reported burglary.

As the investigation began to unfold, they received information from Floyd County deputies on two men who were part of a traffic stop. These men became suspects in the Bremer County case.

The Mason City Police Department and Worth County Sheriff's Office became and involved, and two other men became suspects. It was also determined that a similar burglary occurred in Worth County. 

On January 23, five locations, three in Mason City and two in Northwood, were searched as part of the investigation. Items from the Bremer County burglary were found in Northwood and items from the Worth County burglary were found in one of the Mason City locations.

As a result of the searches, 28-year-old Lover Dandre Montgomery of Mason City was arrested. He is charged with fourth degree theft - possession of stolen property in reference to the Bremer County Burglary. He is charged with second degree theft and fourth degree theft - possession of stolen property in connection with the Worth County burglary.

A second suspect, 36-year-old Eric Devonte Brown of Northwood was arrested on Monday night. He's charged with possession of stolen property in connection with the Worth County burglary and use of stolen credit card in connection with the Bremer County burglary.

Charges are pending against other suspects that law enforcement is trying to locate. Additional charges and arrests are expected.
