Black Hawks beat Steel 7-1

 The Waterloo Black Hawks broke open a close game Friday by scoring four
times in the second period, keying a 7-1 victory over the Chicago Steel at
Young Arena.

The Hawks blitzed the Steel with several scoring chance in the opening
minutes of the contest, but Chicago's Tanner Laczynski stole the puck to score an
unassisted goal to make it 1-0 at 5:41.

Waterloo answered less than two minutes later at 7:19; Tom Novak with an assist to Max Coatta to tie the game at 1-1.

Before the end of the period Henrik Rommel set up Novak for the second goal of the game 2-1 Waterloo.
Waterloo stacked up four more in the second to blow the game wide open.
