Snow on Sunday forced the Cedar Falls Visitor Center to re-schedule its 10 year anniversary celebration.

The event is now planned for Sunday, February 22, from noon to 4:00 p.m.

The Cedar Falls Visitor Center is getting ready to welcome guests for 10 years and counting!

A 10th anniversary celebration is planned for February 1st to mark the occasion, with an open house from noon until 4:00 p.m.

Refreshments and children's activities will happen at the visitor center, with trail walks around Prairie Lake from 2:00-4:00 p.m.

Tourism officials say the visitor center welcomes an average of 700 walk-in patrons each month.
The center features not only attractions in the Cedar Falls area, but also samples brochures from across the state of Iowa and beyond.

The Cedar Falls Visitor Center is also a spot to take in some purple and gold, with apparel available for the Northern Iowa Panthers.
