IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

An Iowa City man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for trafficking methamphetamine.

In August of 2013, police searched the Coralville motel room of Shedrick Xavier Pujoe, 26. There, they found 20 individually wrapped packets of methtotalingng 88 grams. Also in the room -- digital scales, latex gloves, plastic baggies and drug ledgers. Authorities say they found Pujoe's fingerprint on a baggie.

Police say he sold meth on at least one occasion. He was found guilty of drug trafficking in October 2014.

Pujoe will serve 180 months in prison, and five years of supervised release. He will also pay $100 to the Crime Victims Fund.

The investigation was headed by the Johnson County Drug Task Force, with assistance from state and federal agencies.
