A weak clipper is tracking through, bringing some snow to the viewing area.

Along and north of a Dubuque-to-Charles City line, it is at or below freezing, so the snow is sticking to area roadways with some slick spots in Cedar and Jones counties as well.

Elsewhere, most of the snow is melting as it hits, although some areas may cool just enough to see some more slick spots during the morning commute.

The system may linger long enough to get a few rain showers mixing in through Wednesday afternoon, but additional accumulation will be light for both rain and snow.
