AMES (KWWL) -  Naz Long dropped 20 points as 11th ranked Iowa State took down the #9 Kansas Jayhawks 86-81.

Long dialed in 3 of 6 3-pointers, while Georges Niang added another 15 as the Cyclones (13-3, 3-1 Big 12) defeated the only team remaining without a Big 12 loss.

After falling behind 8-3 in the early going, the Cyclones offense came alive. Long would hit a runner just before the break to put ISU up 36-33 at half. They came out firing again, eventually building a 71-57 edge on a lay-in by long with 6:30 remaining.

Kansas (14-3, 3-1) went on a 13-3 run to pull within 4 late, but couldn't overcome the Cyclone lead.

The Cyclone win was the 2nd straight over the Jayhawks after ISU defeated Kansas in last season's Big 12 tournament.
