CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) - Three men have been sentenced to federal prison for their roles in a marijuana trafficking organization that brought large amounts of marijuana to Iowa.

36-year-old Jesse Tolen, of Castella, California; 38-year-old Shannon Ehlts, of Lowden; and 29-year-old Corey Marx, of Cedar Rapids; all played a role in high-priced, mass amounts of marijuana being brought to Iowa from Colorado and California.

Tolen has been sentenced to two years in jail, while Ehlts and Marx received nine and eight months, respectively. All three will also receive three years of supervised release after their jail time.

These three are the last of 12 people sentenced in this specific marijuana conspiracy.
