WATERLOO (KWWL) -

A chimney fell off of a home and hit a neighboring one in Waterloo on Tuesday.

Waterloo Fire was on the scene of 304 Sumner Street, where the chimney fell, for just about 15 minutes. Officials say the bricks barely grazed the adjacent home at 308 Sumner Street.

The Waterloo Fire Department Battalion Chief says the chimney was almost the exact length of the yards between the homes, and that's lucky because the chimney didn't have much room to do damage.

No one was injured, but the house the chimney fell from did have a small hole in the attic where it was originally attached.
