Panthers jump back in to the poll at #23

Posted: Updated:
CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -  The UNI Panthers are back in the polls. Northern Iowa re-entered the Associated Press rankings at #23 following 3 consecutive Missouri Valley Conference wins.

The spot in the poll marks the 3rd week this season that UNI spent time in the top 25, however the Panthers have yet to remain in the rankings in consecutive weeks.

Following a loss to Evansville to open the conference season, the Panthers rattled off wins over Loyola, Southern Illinois, and Drake. UNI sits in 3rd in the MVC standings behind Wichita State and Indiana State.

The Panthers will go after a 4th straight win on the road at Bradley on Tuesday night.
