State Patrol Captain cited for speeding after investigation

Posted: Updated:

An Iowa State Patrol captain is cited after an investigation into an alleged speeding incident.

The Department of Public Safety completed an internal investigation and determined Captain Ken Clary was going 92 in a 70 mile an hour zone.

The DPS is calling it a personnel matter and, because of this, little information is being released in this case.

Captain Clary was fined $110 for speeding, and is subject to court costs and other charges, making his total fine $208.50.
