CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

An exhibit of environmental-related art and poetry from Iowa students will be shown at a Cedar Falls nature center.

Hartman Reserve Nature Center will host the display through Jan. 22.

The exhibit, titled “River of Words,” is made up of Iowa student entries that were part of an annual international art contest.

The contest is sponsored by the River of Words program at The Center for Environmental Literacy, St. Mary's College, in Moraga, California.

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources followed the international contest with a statewide contest.

Waverly-Shell Rock's Hannah Harms was a National Grand Prize Winner in the 2014 competition.

Her prize-winning drawing, “Genesis: A Drop of Life,” is featured in the exhibit.
