WATERLOO (KWWL) -

Waterloo snow removal crews will begin clean up at 8 p.m. on Wednesday.

All vehicles must be removed from downtown street parking. Parking in all downtown ramps will be free until Thursday at 7 a.m. Free parking is also available under the Highway 218 overpass.

Vehicles left unattended after removal begins will be towed.

"The City of Waterloo thanks citizens and patrons of our downtown area for their cooperation, patience and understanding as crews continue to clear streets from this most recent snowfall," wrote Mark Rice, Superintendent of Waterloo Public Works.
