JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (KWWL) -

The wait is just about over for Hawkeye fans wanting to get over the team's disappointing loss to Nebraska.

The Iowa Hawkeyes take the field in the Taxslayer Bowl Friday against the Tennessee Volunteers.

Iowa is 7-5, and Tennessee is 6-6 on the season.

The game starts at 2 p.m. Friday, Iowa time, in Jacksonville, Florida on ESPN.

KWWL's Mark Woodley is in Jacksonville with the latest -- and fans are excited.

Another great Iowa crowd was at the Hawkeye Huddle, and they're all looking forward to a victory -- and that especially goes for a man who takes his fanhood to a whole different level.

In a vast sea of Hawkeye black and gold, Greg Suckow really stands out in Jacksonville.

Suckow is the man known as The King -- Hawkeye Elvis, that is. For him, it just makes sense.

"I've been an Iowa fan my whole life, and an Elvis fan my whole life," he said.

Suckow, who grew up in Ogden, might have rivaled Herky as the No. 1 photo op at Friday morning's Hawkeye Huddle.

There's no doubt -- when he's dressed as The King -- he gets a lot of attention.

"Everybody wants a picture, and I'm happy to stop and pose for photos and do pictures and everything," Suckow said. "It's a lot of fun. It's a way to have fun at the game."

The jumpsuit is custom-made -- Suckow's mother does all the sewing, and spends about a month on each one. The one he's wearing to the Taxslayer Bowl is the latest model cooked up by mom.

"She decided she wanted to make another one, because she loves to sew, so she was like, 'You need a new jumpsuit for the bowl game, so this is Version 3.0,'" Suckow said.

Come gametime, Hawkeye Elvis will be in the stands firing up the Iowa crowd. And as kick-off draws near, he's got one last message for the Volunteers.

"I think the Hawkeyes are going to treat Smoky (Tennessee's mascot) like the hound dog that he is, and send those Vols straight to the Heartbreak Hotel."
