IOWA CITY (KWWL) - Iowa City Police are looking for two men in their 20s they say robbed a Verizon dealer on New Year's Eve morning.

Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Verizon located at 23 Highway 1 West in Iowa City.

According to the report, two men came in and stole cash and merchandise. One of them displayed a handgun.

Suspect 1 is described as a black male in his 20s, about 6 feet tall, weighing about 180-200 pounds and wearing dark jeans, a black sweatshirt, a black coat and a black, flat-billed hat. He was the suspect who showed the gun.

Suspect 2 is described as a black male, also in his 20s, also about 180-200 pounds. He was wearing a grayish/white coat and jeans. He had shoulder-length dreadlocks and "possibly a goatee," according to police.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Iowa City Police Department.
