Hundreds served at Salvation Army's Christmas meal

WATERLOO (KWWL) -

On Tuesday, Dec. 23, The Salvation Army of Waterloo/Cedar Falls served a free Community Christmas Meal.

The meal was held at The Salvation Army's main building, located at 89 Franklin Street in Waterloo. Food and Christmas treats were offered from 11:30 am until 12:45 pm. It was open to the public and free of charge.

The Salvation Army is currently 70 percent towards its goal, so they still need your help!

Donations can be made in any of the following ways:

    -Visiting one of the 24 Red Kettle locations in Cedar Falls, Evansdale, or Waterloo 


    -By mail at PO Box 867, Waterloo, IA, 50704 


    -Online at www.onlineredkettle.org(Search for Waterloo) 


    -In person at 89 Franklin Street in Waterloo. Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 3:30 pm. 

Bellringers will be out until Christmas.
