Kaylee Hosch wants to make a difference in other children's lives and she is only thirteen years old. She is currently dedicating her time to collect bags of toiletries for foster care children.
She said, "They will be excited because they don't get a lot of nice and new things." She wants to collect more than 100 bags by January.
So you may be wondering why Kaylee is determined to reach her goal in donations? She was a foster child herself, so she knows exactly what it's like and wants to help.
She said, "I had stuff but it wasn't in the nicest conditions."
Kaylee's mother, Linda said, "She has been with us now for 8 years and as we get foster children, it's neat to see her help them out and she was really excited about doing the bags project."
She has more than 70 bags right now, and she is expecting even more before she delivers them to DHS herself.
She said, "I'm pretty proud of how big it got"...And she should be.
That's why Kaylee, is Someone You Should Know.
