DUBUQUE (KWWL) - The Dubuque County Sheriff's Office has released the names of two men injured in a Dubuque County crash on Monday evening.

Deputies say 30-year-old Ben Meyer of Bernard was headed south on Highway 151 at Monastery Road at around 5:30 p.m. Monday when a pick-up driven by 62-year-old Roger Halverson of Cresco crashed into his car. They say Halverson was westbound on Skyline Road and attempting to cross over Highway 151 to Monastery Road at the time.

Halverson was taken to a local hospital and is expected to recover. Meyer was taken to a local hospital before being transferred to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Halverson is charged with failing to yield the right of way.
