IOWA CITY (KWWL) - The University of Iowa Children's Hospital may receive a little more holiday cheer this year. That is, if enough people vote.

To celebrate their 20th year in business, CU Direct is donating $20,000 to a Children's Miracle Network Hospital that online voters help select.

Online participants may vote once per day between Dec. 2nd-22nd.

The CMN Hospital with the most votes wins.

As of Dec. 15, the University of Iowa Children's Hospital is in 9th place with 3,911 votes.

Primary Children's Hospital is in first place with 18,911 votes.

4 runners up also receive a cash award of $5,000.

Currently, the University of Iowa Children's Hospital would need over 3,000 votes to beat out fourth placed OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital and win the $5,000 prize.

The credit union with the most votes toward the winning hospital will co-present the $20,000 check with CU Direct.

Voters do not need to be affiliated with a credit union to participate.
