Waterloo Salvation Army offers free Christmas meal

WATERLOO (KWWL) - On Tuesday, Dec. 23, The Salvation Army of Waterloo/Cedar Falls will be serving a free Community Christmas Meal.

The meal will be held at The Salvation Army's main building, located at 89 Franklin Street in Waterloo.

Food will be offered from 11:30 am until 12:45 pm. All are welcome for this special Christmas celebration and there is no cost to attend.

Contributions now assist families throughout the entire year. The Salvation Army asks for the Cedar Valley's help in reaching our goal so that we may continue to be a beacon of hope for all in need.


Donations can be made in any of the following ways:

    -Visiting one of the 24 Red Kettle locations in Cedar Falls, Evansdale, or Waterloo 


    -By mail at PO Box 867, Waterloo, IA, 50704 


    -Online at www.onlineredkettle.org(Search for Waterloo) 


    -In person at 89 Franklin Street in Waterloo. Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 3:30 pm.
