IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

No Bryce Dejean-Jones seemed to no problem for Iowa State. The 14th ranked Cyclones powered by a 26-2 run, cruised to a 90-75. It was just the second win for ISU at Carver Hawkeye Arena in the last 12 years.

With Dejean-Jones suspended, and top scorer Georges Niang struggling in the first half, Iowa State's supporting cast stepped up and took a lead role. Naz Long led the way hitting 5 of 9 from the 3 point line, scoring 21. Abdel Nader stepped off the bench and put together his best performance as a Cyclone adding 19. Nader came in to the game 0-12 from the 3-point line, but hit 4-6 against Iowa.

With the game tied at 33 late in the first half, Iowa State took over. The Cyclones scored the last 5 before the break, including a 3-pointer at the buzzer from Matt Thomas.

Iowa State continued the run in the second half, outscoring Iowa 24-4 in the first 6 minutes to open up their largest lead 62-37.

The Hawkeyes struggled on the offensive end, shooting just 39% for the game. Aaron White led Iowa's effort with 18 points.

Iowa State has now won 5 of the last 6 in the series with Iowa.
