WASHBURN (KWWL) - A Raymond man charged with killing a Cedar Falls man in October has a history of traffic violations.

PREVIOUS STORY:

A Raymond man was charged with homicide by vehicle Thursday after his toxicology results came back from a crash that killed a Cedar Falls man in October.

Joshua William Dunt, 29, of Raymond was charged with homicide by motor vehicle.

He was already being held in the Black Hawk County Jail on a probation violation from Nov. 21.

The Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office did not say what the results indicated, and did not immediately respond to KWWL's questions about the toxicology report.

Dunt was southbound in the 6600 block of La Porte Road in Washburn on Oct. 25 when an investigation showed he crossed the center line, striking a northbound vehicle operated by Warren VanWie, 20, of Cedar Falls.

VanWie and his passenger, Leah McGrane, 18, of Cedar Falls, were taken to Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo after the crash.

VanWie died at the hospital.

Dunt was also taken to Covenant with severe injuries, and later transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

After being released from the hospital, Dunt was charged with driving left of center. Read that initial story here: http://www.kwwl.com/story/27016540/two-people-trapped-in-washburn-car-crash
