There's some good news for sugary cereal lovers this Monday morning. The popular cereal French Toast Crunch is back on the market after being unavailable for eight years.
General Mills announced Friday on their blog "Taste of General Mills" that they are bringing back the crunchy cereal due to fan requests.
On the bog they wrote, “we've seen a lot of cereals come and go over the years, but one of the most frequent requests we see is to bring back French Toast Crunch – the little toast-shaped, maple-flavored bites of deliciousness packed into a cereal box.”
With several tweets, a Facebook group and even an online petition, it was hard for the company to ignore the fact that people still love those little toasts.
The Market Manger for Big G, Waylon Good announced on the blog “we have been overwhelmed by the consumer conversations, requests and passion for the cereal to come back. We value our fans and are so excited to be able to bring it back for them.”
French Toast Crunch originally hit shelves in 1995 but was discontinued in 2006. 90's kids will be happy to hear that the original shape is back and will be in stores by January.
