Panthers move to 8-0 with overtime win over George Mason

 It took extra time, but the Panthers got the job done taking down George Mason 71-65 on Saturday night in the McLeod Center. UNI extended one of the hottest starts in school history moving to 8-0 on the season.

Four Panthers reached double figures with Seth Tuttle leading the way with 16 points. Paul Jesperson tallied 12, Bennett Koch added 11, while Nate Buss rounded out the group with 10. All 3 came off the bench to provide a spark.

UNI led by as much as 12 in the second half before the Patriots mounted a comeback. They completed it as Wes Washpun was called for a foul with 1.3 seconds left in regulation with UNI leading by 2. George Mason's Marquise Moore hit both free throws to send the game to overtime.

Seth Tuttle put UNI ahead for good in the extra session with a bucket with 1:11 remaining. Paul Jesperson sealed it hitting 6 free throws in the final 30 seconds.
