U.S. Marshalls arrest Cedar Rapids shooting suspect

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

U.S. Marshalls have arrested a Cedar Rapids man in connection with a September shooting.

19-year-old Elijah Morse was wanted on several charges related to a Sept. 22 incident in Cedar Rapids. Investigators say he shot the side of a home.

He was wanted on charges for Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon, and Going Armed with Intent.

Investigators found him at a home in the 400 block of 16th St. SE in Cedar Rapids at about 7:30 p.m. Members of the Northern Iowa Fugitives Task Force say he tried to run, but was picked up.

He's currently being held at the Linn County Correctional Center. Police say he will face additional charges based on his actions during the arrest.
