Rick: I'm Rick Coleman here with UNI head football coach Mark Farley, after the Panthers very impressive first round playoff win over Stephen F. Austin 44-10 the largest margin of victory in playoff history. Your team was ready to go coach.

Mark Farley: Yeah they came out fast the big run by David Johnson kind of set the tone the 73 yard run, and then the
interception on the third play on defense.

Rick: Great game plan well executed the guys are playing with a certain focus right now.

Mark: Well they are focused and playing with a purpose and they have a lot of confidence right now. I think all three phases of the game we are playing well right now we just have to continue to get lined up and have a good plan.

Rick: Now you go on the road to face an Illinois State team that you kind of started this playoff push. Playoffs really started for you 5-6 weeks ago while this will be Illinois State's first playoff game, how do you handle going in into Normal?

Mark: that's the tough part the first time I have played a team for the second time in the same year.
We had a good plan the first time but no surprise factor this time so it will be interesting to see what comes out of this football game.

Rick: And you know what they have Tre Roberson the outstanding quarterback, Marshawn Coprich the MVFC player of the year. How do you play those guys?

Mark: Those were the two guys I worried about the first time, the runningback, our league player of the year, and the quarterback makes that offense go averaging 35-40 points a game, we have to contain him and get him on the grass when we can.

Rick: Good Luck Coach

Mark: Thank You
