WATERLOO (KWWL) -
Waterloo Police are investigating what they're calling a suspicious death.
Police say they received an emergency call Wednesday around 2 a.m. of a report of a woman, 35, unconscious at 317 Ricker St. in Waterloo. Police wouldn't say who also lived there, but did say others were in the home at the time.
Police are still trying to figure out how the woman died; officers say there were no obvious signs of death. Police tape remains wrapped around the home, and a KWWL crew saw a Waterloo Police car parked on the street Thursday afternoon.
An autopsy took place Thursday in Ankeny. Police say they plan to release the woman's name once the autopsy is complete.
