CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) - Coe College is now partnering with Willis Dady Emergency Shelter in Cedar Rapids.

Every Monday and Tuesday, at least one Coe volunteer will spend the night at the shelter.

Coe will provide 100 overnight shifts during the next year, which will save the shelter more than $11,000 in operating costs.

After one year, Willis Dady will give $2,500 to Coe that will help pay for service trips for students during spring break.
