An Iowa City man faces multiple charges, accused of disrupting class at the University of Iowa and assaulting campus police officers.

Authorities arrested 20-year-old De'Quan Miles on Tuesday.
According to a complaint, Miles was reported to be disrupting class at the University of Iowa Van Allan Hall, Pappajohn Business Building, and McBride Hall.  Police stopped him on the Pentacrest near Schaeffer Hall.

The complaint states Miles resisted arrest by pulling away, kicking and fighting to prevent his arms from being put behind his back.  Miles is also accused of kicking backwards and up during the arrest, hitting a male police officer between the legs, and stomping on another officer's foot.

Miles had already been given a warning for being on university property in September.

He faces charges of interference with official acts, trespassing, and assaulting peace officers.
