IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

A drug raid of an eastern Iowa home has a couple facing several charges, including child endangerment.

The Johnson County Drug Task Force found about four pounds of marijuana and several other drug paraphernalia in the home of 30-year-old Ronda Broulik and 29-year-old Jacob Broulik.

Both admitted to selling drugs from their southeast Iowa City home, according to the complaint.

Jacob Broulik also admitted he and his wife smoked weed every night with his 15-year old stepdaughter.

According to the complaint, the teenager told investigators she took Adderall from her parents and drank alcohol with them at least once.

Neighbors living in the area says they're shocked, and didn't even know the couple had a teenager.

"Seemed like a nice young couple. They had a couple of young kids," said C.J. who lives across from the couple. "They were just a normal family, I didn't even know there was a 15-year-old in the house."

C.J. said the couple has been living in their home for about two years.

The complaint states the Johnson County Drug Task Force raided the Broulik's home on Hollywood Boulevard on Oct. 27 and found about 4 pounds of marijuana, marijuana pipes and bongs.

They also found items used to make drugs such as heat seal plastic baggies and digital scales.

"Shocking, I've seen them outside, I know they have little kid," said Mari Beth Bartruff who also lives nearby.

The complaint also says there was a bottle of vodka sitting in the 15-year-old's bedroom.

The Broulik's were booked in the Johnson County Jail, but has since been released

The couple's charges include child endangerment, possessing a controlled substance and a controlled substance violation.

"They just didn't seem to be involved in a drug scene," said C.J.
