Thirteen Panthers earn MVFC football honors

 The UNI football team was well represented placing 13 student athletes on the All-Missouri Valley Football Conference teams. Six Panthers earned first team honors, 4 more landed on the second team, while 3 picked up honorable mention recognition.

David Johnson picked up first team honors after rushing for 1,505 yards so far this season. Johnson finished as the runner-up for offensive player of the year honors. He's joined by Xavier Williams who leads all defensive lineman with 84 tackles and 8 sacks.

Senior offensive lineman Jack Rummells, junior kicker Michael Schmadeke, senior linebacker Mark Farley, and junior safety Tim Kilfoy were all also named to the first team..
