The Northern Iowa women's basketball program fell to the Hofstra Pride in overtime tonight, 61-58.

The Panthers held an eight point late in the game but Hofstra hit a jumper with 24 seconds left in the second half to tie the score 49-49 and send the game into overtime.

The Pride held a five point lead with less than three minutes in overtime before UNI rallied, including a huge three-pointer from Madison Weekly with 26 seconds left to cut the Hofstra lead to two points.

Unfortunately, Hofstra's Darius Faulk was able to convert one of her two free throws, officially sealing the 61-58 victory with one second left on the clock.

Madison Weekly would leading the Panthers with 21 points, including five made three-pointers and four assists. Stephanie Davison added a season-high 19 points, shooting 6-of-12 from the field and 7-of-8 from the free throw line.

The Panthers will return to action tomorrow when UNI takes on Tulane University at 1 p.m. CT. It will be UNI's second game as part of the Hofstra Thanksgiving Tournament.
