DUBUQUE (KWWL) - Saturday, Nov. 29 is the last day for the City of Dubuque's weekly curbside collection of yard waste and food scraps until next spring.

The city will still collect waste by appointment. Those pick-ups happen on Thursdays starting Dec. 4.

To schedule winter collection, residents need to call the Public Works Department or submit a "Winter Yard Waste/Food Scraps Collection Appointment" service request on the City's websitehttp://www.cityofdubuque.org

To qualify for winter collections, residents need yellow yard waste stickers or annual yard waste decals.

Regular weekly collection starts back up on April 6.
