DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

The Dubuque Police Department arrested two men Tuesday afternoon on multiple drug charges.

Lemuel Taylor of Dubuque had a warrant out for his arrest when he was spotted in a Hardee's by a police officer.

After he was placed under arrest, police found nearly 50 grams of cocaine and a small amount of marijuana, they said.

He was with Derian Phillips of Scales Mound, Illinois, who was also arrested on the scene. Police said Phillips had 15 grams of marijuana with him.

Taylor was charged with possession of a controlled substance and intent to deliver, police said. He appeared in court this morning and was held on $20,000 bond, they said.

Phillips, who was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, also appeared in court this morning, police said, and he was released on a $2,000 bond.
