A strong wind this evening continues to cause some blowing snow, making road conditions slick.

Light snow or flurries end this evening with little to no additional accumulation.

The wind gradually diminishes tonight and becomes light by Tuesday morning.

The wind remains light through Tuesday night. Clouds clear late tonight and, despite sunshine Tuesday, it is going to be a cold day with highs in the 20s.

Light snow is forecast to develop early Wednesday morning and taper off Wednesday afternoon. Snow accumulations could range from 1-2 inches across eastern Iowa.

Thanksgiving will be cold, with highs in the low 20s and  a partly cloudy sky.
