LINN COUNTY (KWWL) -

Four people were injured Thursday afternoon in a three-car crash on Highway 30 in Linn County.

Sergeant Richard Yoder says 20-year-old Isaac John Brenneman of Fairfax was turning from Jappa Road onto Highway 30 and drove into the path of a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Michael Brandon Brecht of Geneva, Illinois.

Yoder says that after Brenneman and Brecht moved their vehicles, Brenneman's vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by 44-year-old Tom Darrin Decker of Canton, Georgia.

Brecht and Paige Elizabeth Boche, 19, of Marion, a passenger in Brecht's vehicle, were taken to St. Luke's Hospital. They are expected to recover.

Brenneman and a passenger, 19-year-old Brandon Michael Wille of Fairfax, were taken to a hospital by private vehicle.

Decker refused treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
