Here with UNI head football coach Mark Farley. The Panthers won their fourth game in a row and exorcised some demons with a big win over Southern Illinois -- one impressive thing about that win is this team got off to a great start.

Mark Farley: We did we came out and got that first score on offense on a great catch by Braden Lehman, and then we got the interception for a touchdown -- that kind of got the ball rolling.

Rick Coleman: The team had gotten off to relatively slow starts so I thought the fast start was important especially down the stretch

Mark Farley: It was -- it was on the road and we finally got a win down there after so many years -- we went in there very focused and we got better than we were the week before.

Rick Coleman: Up next is senior day against Missouri State. I know it will be emotional for all of those seniors -- but the focus must be on winning the game.

Mark Farley: Yes that is the most important thing to get the win, but we also want to honor those great seniors.

Rick Coleman: It will be an emotional time for Missouri State -- their coach Terry Allen is in trouble and the team will be playing for their coach.

Mark Farley: Yes, and we must be ready because the stakes are raised again this week.

    Football is back. Preseason football, that is.  KWWL is airing all four Green Bay Packer preseason football games both its main channel and the CW.  This Sunday, August 19, the Packers head to Maryland to play the Redskins at 6:30 p.m. This will be on the CW, however only syndicated shows will be affected so there isn't anything re-airing. Next Saturday, August 26, the Packers head to Denver to play the Broncos at 8:00 p.m. on KWWL. The KWWL News at 10 will run on the CW....
