CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

The Hall-Perrine Cancer Center at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids is receiving a $29,600 grant from the Aiming for a Cure Foundation.

The money will go towards the Child Life Program at the Family Cancer Resource Center. That program helps people who are spouses, children, parents, friends, or caregivers to people diagnosed with cancer.

The Aiming for a Cure Foundation is a local not-for-profit that aims to help pediatric oncology patients and their families.
