RECALL: Graco recalling 4.7 million strollers

Posted: Updated:
Graco announced they are voluntarily recalling 4.7 million strollers because of a risk of pinching or cutting a child's finger.

The recall spans 12 different models sold between Aug. 1, 2000 and Nov. 19, 2014. The recall includes strollers with model names Aspen, Breeze, Capri, Cirrus, Glider, Kite, LiteRider, Sierrea, Solara, Sterling and TravelMate.

They have external sliding fold lock hinges, that could have the potential to pitch a child's finger, which could lead to a cut or amputation.

They have received 11 reports of injuries, in which six of them have cause finger amputation. Four of them were a partial fingertip cut, and one finger cut.

The company is offering free covers to anyone who purchased the affected stroller.

You can find out if you're stroller is one of the affected ones by entering their model number at GracoBaby.com or by calling 800-345-4109 Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can find the model number on the white label at the bottom of the stroller leg, above the rear wheel.
