CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

A campaign aimed at helping at-risk children has raised millions of dollars.

Four Oaks' Total Child reached their goal of $6 million to help children and their families in Linn County overcome obstacles.

The group celebrated their success in Cedar Rapids to as they continue to provide resources and basic needs like job training, education and community support.

"Helping kids and families that really need to be served in a different way and those kids really have many challenges in their life and our goal in Total Child is to serve all of those challenges at the same time," said Anne Gruenewald, President and CEO Four Oaks

Three million of the money raised will be devoted to Four Oaks, the other $3 million will go toward housing improvements in the Wellington Heights area.

Four oaks and its affiliates helps more than 14,000 children and their families every year.
